Beyond Museum- The structure of our website
Welcome to the Beyond Museum Articles. Here we give you insides into our work as founders of a virtual exhibition platform for Artivists.
After some interviews with our target, we seen that they like and prefer a website and social media accounts with variety of content types.
At the begging of the project our purpose was to create a platform very dynamic, entertaining and playful. To achieve this, the website is structured in 6 parts.
- Home page
Is like the presentation of what is Beyond Museum and contains a overview of the categories of the website. When you scroll down there are a section about the latest collaborations, topics in the radar and a video with a small introduction in the topic of Artivism.
In the menu bar are:
- Manifesto
The manifesto is a declaration of intentions and principles. In it Beyond Museum communicates its core values. “We at Beyond Museum want to give these people (people who are fighting and struggling for more just and equal life, society and future) a platform to spread their word and get them connected to our community.”
- Artists
In this section are the interviews with the artists. Each one of them is different from the other, there are written interviews, podcasts, videos… All of this supported by photos of their artworks.
- Radar
Is a space to learn about the current topics. These articles are written by us, the creators of the platform. With the help of reliable and truthful sources. The aim is to inform the audience about the issues of the day.
- About Us
Here are a short introduction about the creators, about Selma, Calle and me, Andrea. We thought that this part is important and also our photos too, because is a way for users to get to know us and become more familiar with us. And in this part there are also a section about the community, here we share photos of our followers, our audiences and the people that is helping us with the project.
- Support
This is the area where viewers can subscribe to keep up to date with beyond museum news.
Also, in the menu bar are the social media and beyond museum’s soundcloud account. This is a very easy way for users to visit our network accounts.
